Welshman spills the beans on behind-the-scenes drama
It's been a month since Big Brother wrapped up, but the drama is far from over. Former housemate Jenkin has recently opened up about a secret feud among the cast. Speaking at the Jack and his Giant Bigstalk press night, Jenkin spilled the beans about the show's WhatsApp groups and who's been left out.
A WhatsApp group divided
Jenkin revealed that all the housemates have joined WhatsApp groups to stay in touch after leaving the Big Brother house, except for Farida and Trish. Trish reportedly declined the invitation to join the group, which Jenkin seemed to understand. He said, "Obviously she might have felt a certain type of way entering the group, not knowing what everyone's opinion was on the fact."
An exclusive group within the group
But that's not all. There's also a more exclusive WhatsApp group that only a select few housemates have been invited to. This group includes Tom, Paul, and Olivia. Jenkin explained, "We've got a garden group group chat as well. We all got labelled as a garden group garden gang, so we've got a garden gang group chat as well." It seems like there's plenty of drama to go around, even outside the main group.
Trish's invite withdrawn
It's worth noting that Trish had her invite to the series final withdrawn by show bosses. This decision came after old tweets from Trish resurfaced, containing racist and homophobic content. Production felt it would be "inappropriate" to have her in the audience with the rest of the cast. An insider explained, "They didn't want to look like they were endorsing Trish's opinions, even though she has apologized for them, and they felt it was a distraction from the final." Despite being disappointed, Trish respected the show's wishes and will be there in spirit.
Overall, it seems like the drama from Big Brother continues to unfold, even after the cameras have stopped rolling.
