BIG Brother’s original host Davina McCall has told fans she can’t imagine the pain Nikki Grahame endured before her tragic death.
The 53-year-old TV star struggled to find the words to talk about the “iconic” star but wanted to elaborate on her short tweet following the announcement of her passing last night.

“It felt odd that I had posted something on Twitter and not on her,” she wrote on Instagram today.
“I’ve typed and deleted three times… I can’t find the words… it’s just really tragic.
“She was iconic. In the true sense of the word.
“Whose catch phrases will be with me forever
sending so much love to her friends and family.

“I’m so sorry. The pain you and she must have endured …. x
RIP Nikki.”
Yesterday Davina tweeted: “I am so desperately sad to hear about Nikki Grahame x my thoughts are with her friends and family xx she really was the funniest , most bubbly sweetest girl x”
Meanwhile, Davina’s replacement host Emma Willis has also been reflecting on her memories with Nikki.

“Heartbreaking news about Nikki,” she wrote on Instagram this afternoon.
“A legend in our Big Brother family who was captivating to watch and an absolute sweetheart to be around.
