BIG Brother’s Lauren Harries is bedbound in hospital after having a failed operation on her spine.
The TV star’s mum Katy said that after a split was discovered in her daughter’s spine she needed to undergo “high-risk” surgery.

However, in an update, she said that the operation was “unsuccessful” and said that Lauren will be staying in hospital for longer.
Lauren, 45, has been hospitalised for over 2 and a half months now after she had emergency brain surgery in April.
She then ended up in intensive care after contracting infections and is now unable to walk without help.
The 2013 Big Brother legend was also placed in a coma after she suffered from seizures.
She needed surgery after an MRI scan found the split, and they are unsure how it was caused.
A tweet posted from Lauren’s account read: “Lauren has had to have Spinal Surgery due to a split in her spine.
“This was very painful, It’s worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain.
“Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful so drs are looking into other options.”
Katy continued: “She’s been in hospital now for over 2.5 months. Her spine is concerning for doctors and she will be staying for longer.
“We don’t know why or how this happened.
“She just wants to get home.”
Fans rushed to send messages of support to Lauren, with one writing: “Sorry to read the surgery wasn’t successful, hopefully they will sort poor Lauren out soon. You will be home soon. Love & Light xx”
“Thinking of you all and sending love and healing wishes to Lauren xx,” another said.
A third added: “Thanks for keeping us updated , sending hugs to you all , stay strong x”
Last month Katy shared an update on Lauren’s health, she shared a photo of Lauren looking glamourous, yet fed up.
She wore a soft pink satin dress which she teamed with oversized sunglasses.
Lauren, who came to fame as an antiques expert when she was just a child lost her hair after her initial operation.
She wore a curly blonde wig which she wrapped a Louis Vuitton scarf around.
“Lauren has had the worst seizure yet, she was awake for the whole thing”, Katy wrote.
“She said it was the most terrifying thing she’s been through. She is unable to walk and has curled toes due to a split in her spine an MRI has shown.”
“It was added that the kind words from her fans were keeping Lauren’s ‘spirits high’.
“She loves you all”, Katy signed off.
