Billie Faiers fears stress is causing husband Greg to go bald, as he opens up about life-changing surgery

BILLIE Faiers told husband Greg Shepherd that the stress of thinking about going bald might be causing him to lose his hair more quickly.

The couple talk candidly about his hair loss in the new series of their TV show The Billie & Greg Family Diaries.

It’s something that has played on 35-year-old Greg’s mind for years and eventually prompted him to have a hair transplant earlier this year.

The process is covered in the reality show, which sees Greg say: “Since I’ve been thinking about having it [hair transplant] done, I think am looking balder.”

In a clip obtained by the Mirror, Billie says Greg’s “stressing so you’re balding more”. It prompts him to reply: “I put it down to the stress of marriage.”

Greg said he didn’t want to look like his dad when he hits 50 and has taken matters into his own hands.

In the aftermath of his transplant, he said: “So, as you can tell, I have had a hair transplant. It took nearly two years for me to get in the chair, but I honestly don’t know what I was worried about.”

Hair loss isn’t the only major stress in Greg’s life.

The dad-of-two has also been overseeing the family’s major home renovation that has seen them embroiled in a bitter feud with neighbours.

In a recent joint interview with the Mail, Billie said: “It’s stressful because we’re juggling, like time is not on our side at the moment. We we’re working all the time, we’ve got two young children.

“With filming and obviously renovating a house, It’s like a it’s a lot and sometimes does feel like there’s not enough hours in the day.”

Relations with their neighbours are so bad that the former Towie star, 31,  and Greg are no longer on speaking terms with them –  and recently spent a whopping £20k on trees to keep prying eyes away.
