She looked a little different to how many would remember her, with shoulder-length dark hair at the launch of Manzi’s restaurant in Soho.

Some fans said they didn’t recognise the I Hate Suzie and Doctor Who star after pictures emerged from the event.

Mum-of-three Billie, 40, looked amazing as she posed for photos in a futuristic silver dress and clear heels at the new seafood restaurant.

However, she looked ready for bed after leaving the bash via a side entrance, getting into a chauffered car and heading for home.

Pictures from inside the bash showed Billie mingling with guests.

She was seen laughing with Help Refugees founder Josie Naughton at the bash, which was held in partnership with Choose Love.

Billie shot to fame in the late 90s when she was the youngest person ever to bag a UK No1 song with Because We Want To, released when she was 15.

She later found fame again when she was cast as sidekick Rose Tyler in Doctor Who in 2005 – before starring in Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Collateral and I Hate Suzy.
