Netflix has officially announced that Black Mirror Season 7 will arrive in 2025, with six brand-new episodes currently in production. What to Expect from Season 7
According to What's on Netflix, the new Black Mirror series will premiere in April 2025, but an exact date is yet to be revealed. As part of Netflix's Geeked Week event, creator Charlie Brooker teased that the upcoming season will feature a mix of genres, dark satire, and the series' trademark disturbing twists.
Return to Roots and Surprising Sequel
In a backstage interview with Tudum, Brooker hinted that Season 7 will return to Black Mirror's roots. He mentioned, "It’s back to basics in many ways." One of the biggest surprises revealed was that the new season will feature the show's first-ever sequel, with the cast of a certain spaceship from a previous episode reappearing. Brooker teased, "We’ve done a sequel for the first time in Black Mirror history."
