Bradley Walsh rages at The Chase contestant after fairytale question becomes a nightmare

BRADLEY Walsh was left infuriated after a contestant on The Chase answered a question about a well known fairytale incorrectly.

Tuesday evening’s episode of the ITV quiz show saw Wendy, Jack, Susheel and Neil join forces and one of them soon stole the show – but for all the wrong reasons.

One by one, they went head-to-head with Shaun Wallace in a bid to make it into the final.

During Neil’s round, Bradley scolded him for getting a question about Jack and the Beanstalk wrong.

The host questioned: “‘Be he alive, or be he dead, I’ll grind his bones to make my bread’ is a repeated line in which fairy tale?”

The correct answer, of course, was Jack and the Beanstalk – but Neil was completely unaware of the famous line.

'DREAMY'

The Chase fans all saying the same things over handsome contestant's accent

Bradley, who knew the answer was Jack and the Beanstalk, raged: “You’ve inexplicably put Little Red Riding Hood.

A confused Neil then asked: “That might be wrong, do you think?”

Incandescent with rage, Bradley then yelled: “I have got four-year-olds screaming their heads off at the television now. You’re kidding me!”

It’s not the first time that Bradley has singled out a contestant on the show.

In an episode dating back to last year, Bradley took on the role of a teacher as he was forced to scold contestants for “acting like schoolkids”.

The 61-year-old was left open-mouthed as the quiz hopefuls started to conduct a conversation of their own while he tried to present.

Sarah, who revealed she was an actual teacher, could be heard saying: “We’ve gone low, we’ve hardly got any money, but we’ve got her back – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show like it.”

Unable to take it any more, Bradley commented: “Don’t ask me what’s going on, I haven’t got a clue I’ve never made a show like this one.

“I mean you’re so interruptive the lot of you – it’s like being at school.”

The Chase continues weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
