HIT Netflix series Bridgerton has teased the addition of four new cast members joining series two.
The official Bridgerton Twitter account shared the announcement of the new cast members joining the upcoming series.
Sex Education and Broadchurch star Simone Ashley will be playing the lead female role Kate Sharma, a potential love interest for Anthony.
The actress, 26, plays a character who “is equal parts headstrong and wip-smart.”
British Indian actress Charithra Chandran will play Edwina Sharma, younger sister to Kate.
According to her character description, “she is kind-natured and endlessly endearing. But while she may be young and naive, she also knows what she wants: a true love match.”

The actress, 44, has appeared in the television series Silent Witness, The Deceived, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Liar.
Black Beauty and Derry Girls actor, Calam Lynch, joins the show as printer’s assistant Theo Sharpe.
Theo is a “working-class man and an intellectual who fights for the rights for all.”
