Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey strips naked for steamy sex scenes in new season 2 trailer

AFTER the worldwide success of its first season, Bridgerton is set to return with a second series with racy scenes.

Netflix bosses have released a new trailer for the show in which hunk Jonathan Bailey makes temperatures rise by stripping naked.

The three-minute trailer sets up the central relationship for season two between Lord Anthony Bridgerton – portrayed by heartthrob Jonathan Bailey – and newcomer Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley.

As he sets out to find a wife, Anthony begins courting Edwina (Charithra Chandran) but Kate quickly suspects his motives aren’t pure and tries to stop her younger sister from falling for him.

To complete his study as the eldest child of his family, the nobleman knows he will first have to get into Kate’s good graces before even considering slipping a ring on to Edwina’s finger.

However, the verbal sparring between him and Kate leads to unexpected feelings and many obstacles soon bar their way, including Kate’s corgi who Anthony will also have to befriend.

But while the love triangle ensues, Bridgerton vows to give viewers more steamy sex scenes throughout its second instalment, as it did during its first series.

And just as the new trailer teases, the viscount will be stripping off naked, showing off his chiselled torso and strong arms.

Bridgerton’s upcoming season is based on the second novel in author Julia Quinn’s best-selling series, The Viscount Who Loved Me.

The first episode will be dropped on Netflix on March 25, 2022.

Although the trailer promises many sizzling scenes to come involving Anthony, fans can also expect to see Phoebe Dynevor reprising her role as Daphne Bridgerton.

The actress was half of the primary couple in the first season of the show.

This time, she will be appearing alone as Daphne’s now-husband, the Duke of Hastings, is unseen in the trailer.

Actor Regé-Jean Page famously left the series which saw him take on the role of Simon Basset.
