Auditions Set for Mid-September

Britain's Got Talent is gearing up for its next season with auditions scheduled to kick off as soon as next month. Producers of the popular ITV talent show will be holding open auditions in mid-September to discover the next wave of UK talent.

Schedule Shake-Up

The auditions announcement comes just three months after the last series concluded, crowning singer Sydnie Christmas as the champion. The show's scheduling has been shaken up this year, with plans to air BGT for at least three months from early next year.

Bruno Tonioli's Future in Jeopardy

However, the extended run of the show has raised concerns about the participation of judge Bruno Tonioli. The former Strictly Come Dancing star may have to miss out on the auditions due to scheduling conflicts with his commitments on US Dancing With The Stars. This has prompted discussions about potentially freshening up the panel.

Uncertainty Looms Over Panel

With no replacement lined up for Bruno yet, there are deliberations within ITV about whether to keep him on the show. The channel is currently in negotiations with the show's producers, Thames, as part of a £100 million deal. Simon Cowell, who is keen on retaining Bruno, may have a say in the final decision.
