BRITAIN’S Got Talent bosses have banned the use of any music by Dizzee Rascal on the show after he was convicted of abusing his former fiancee.
Dizzee’s track Bonkers regularly featured on audition sections of the ITV talent contest.
But that has been axed after Dizzee — real name Dylan Mills, 37 — was found guilty last month of assaulting Cassandra Jones, the mother of his two children.
The first episode of the new series featured an act called the Scooter Boys, who performed stunts to Bonkers.
But the track was dubbed over and viewers actually heard music by Tinie Tempah and LMFAO.
A TV insider said: “During Saturday night’s show, the Scooter Boys gave a stunning performance which used Bonkers as the soundtrack to their original audition.

“But the decision was taken to dub different music over the top and that’s a policy which will continue throughout the series.
“Like other musicians who’ve been proved guilty of wrongdoing, it would be inappropriate to showcase their work on a family entertainment programme.”
Britain’s Got Talent bosses declined to comment.
At his sentencing this month, rapper Dizzee was given a one-year restraining order and a 24-week curfew for assaulting Cassandra during a row in Streatham, South London, in July last year.
District judge Polly Gledhill said he had shown no remorse for the attack and even blamed his ex.
