A BRITAIN’S Got Talent golden buzzer act has become the new favourite to win the show.
With a while still to go until the live shows kick off, one act is standing out from the crowd.
Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act has become the favourite to win BGT
Malakai Bayoh is the current favourite to win the ITV variety show
Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act Malakai Bayoh is currently the bookies favourite to win the ITV variety show.
Viewers watched as the 13-year-old belted out Pie Jesu and left everyone speechless.
As he performed the song, Bruno Tonioli teared up as he watched on from his seat.
The teenager’s odds to win Britain’s Got Talent are 2/1 – with the Ghetto Kids leading behind at 10/3.
If Malakai wins, he’ll not only scoop a jackpot prize of £250,00 but bag himself a place at the Royal Variety Performance.
“Choirboy Malakai Bayoh leads the betting market as our 2/1 favourite, his odds have improved slightly as his odds were 11/4 when the market opened,” said a BetVictor spokesperson.
“He stunned the judging panel and viewers at home with his incredible performance in the first weekend of auditions.”
They added: “He became Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzer act and will be heading straight to the semi-finals.
“Malakai performed Pie Jesu as he took to the stage and impressed fellow judges Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon.”
Meanwhile, Noodle the AI cat has left Britain’s Got Talent viewers desperate to find out who owns the incredible voice behind the singing feline.
The fun animation captivated the audience and judges on Saturday night’s show with a rousing rendition of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good.
One name that’s cropping up time and time again is a star of last year’s series as well as the latest edition of America’s Got Talent.
Fans think 24-year-old Tom Ball, from West Sussex, is behind the act.
The teacher, who wowed Amanda Holden with his version of Sam Smith’s Bond theme last year, certainly has the powerful vocals.
One viewer said: “100% TOM BALL you deserve to win this year mate. Came 3rd on BGT and is one of the greatest singers. It’s CGI as it would give away it’s him.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
