Britain’s Got Talent makes major announcement ahead of tomorrow’s grand final

BRITAIN’S Got Talent have made a big announcement about the show as it prepares to stage the grand finale.

Hosts Ant and Dec explained that it will be returning for another explosive series next year – and you have the chance to join in.

The pair said that as of today applications are open to ordinary Brits who want to showcase their skills on BGT.

Simon Cowell told viewers in a video posted on Instagram today: “Apply now – it might just change your life forever.”

Dec said: “Auditions for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent are open right now.”

Ant added: “You may be an incredible dancer, an unbelievable singer or an amazing comedian.”

Dec said: “Why not give it a go? What is there to be scared of?”

At that a picture of The Witch, one of this year’s creepy acts, appeared on the screen.

Friday’s live show on ITV saw the last two acts in the final revealed as comedian Axel Blake and poet Aneeshwar Kunchala.

They will now appear alongside Maxwell Thorpe, Jamie Leahey, Ben Nickless, Flintz and T4ylor, Tom Ball, Eva Abley, Loren Allred and 5 Star Boys tomorrow night.

However, there will be no Saturday show tonight with the acts – and judges – given a day off to prepare.

In BGT’s place, after Stephen Mulhern’s game show In For A Penny, ITV are showing the film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom for two hours.

Ant told viewers at the end of last night’s episode: “That’s it from us but see you on Sunday night at 7.30pm straight after the football for the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2022.”

Dec added: “Plus, we’ve got a live performance from the cast of Sister Act: The Musical. They’re going be here on Sunday.”

ITV viewers can apply to appear on the show at itv.com/bgt while Scotland’s STV viewers should go to stv.tv/bgt.
