Britain’s Got Talent star Emile Harris looks completely different 12 years after semi-final performance

BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Emile Harris is still plugging his trade as a singer songwriter 12 years after appearing on the show.

The Welsh lad made it through to the semi-finals as a 17-year-old in series four where he was buzzed by judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan.

He is still performing as a singer songwriter

He received three yeses in the audition stage after performing his own track, although he was told he had the “charisma of an aardvark”.

Undeterred, he performed another self-penned track, Suspicious, in the semi-final, but it didn’t go down as well.

Piers said: “There is no doubt that from your audition that you have talent both as a song writer and a singer but tonight you took a real gamble to do your own material. For me the gamble didn’t work.

“The song wasn’t as good as the one you did before and I thought your voice for at least 2/3rds was out of tune.”

Simon Cowell praised his look but not his vocals.

He said: “I wanted to give you a shot until the end, but I’ve gotta be honest with you Emile, you are a good looking guy, you’ve got the right kind of voice for what its happening at the moment.

“The problem is, you’re not a good songwriter. That was a terrible song it went absolutely nowhere. My advice to you is to be in a band, you don’t have a strong enough voice to be on your own.”

Emile’s latest releases prove that he can knock out a catchy tune, with fans on Instagram sharing their love for his tracks.

The family man is also a father-of-two and shared a sweet snap with his kids at Christmas time.
