The star is now hitting the charts with her own music

Morgan wowed judges as she belted out a rendition of Rather Go Blind by Etta James, which saw her receive a standing ovation from the crowd.

It was her second attempt at a song after Simon Cowell halted the performance of her first choice, Jennifer Hudson’s Spotlight.

When Morgan had finished her second tune, Alesha Dixon gushed: “I loved your voice, I think it was brilliant! You have so much potential, you don’t know how good you are.”

While Simon stated that he believed Morgan was one of the “better singers on the show this year”.

Morgan’s Instagram page is full of recordings of her singing and showing off her vocal range.

Earlier in May her song In My Feelings was named Record of the Week on Radio One’s 1Xtra.

The track was also added to playlists on Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple.

She told her followers at the time: “In My Feelings is one of those special songs to me. Thank you to everyone for the amazing Week 1 love

”.

She’s currently working towards headlining her own show at London’s Courtyard Theatre on May 26.
