Just before Viggo Venn was crowned winner, the pair duetted the song – I Dreamed A Dream – that made Susan a star back in 2009.

Fans watching at home loved the two singing together.

One said on Twitter: “Blown away by Lucie Jones on #BGT how she keeps getting better and better is beyond me.”

“Also a Lucie Jones guest performance is always a good thing. Love her getting a moment with SuBo,” another wrote.

A third chimed in: “SuBo and Lucie Jones!! What in the 2009 is going on”

Lucie placed eighth on The X Factor in 2009 and was mentored by Dannii Minogue.

Eight years later she represented the UK in the Eurovision Song contest.

She’s appeared in various shows in the West End.

After their performance Susan shocked fans as she revealed her secret health battle.

She opened up to hosts Ant and Dec about her fears that her illness may have prevented her from ‘ever performing again’.

Susan admitted that last April she suffered from a minor stroke.

It left her questioning if she would ever be able to sing again.

The 62-year-old told the audience: “It feels great [to be back] – it’s extra special for me actually because last April I suffered a minor stroke.

“And I thought I wouldn’t get back on stage and I have done it.”

It is believed to be Susan’s first performance since her secret health battle.

Susan placed second on BGT behind dance group Diversity.

Meanwhile viewers demanded the show to be ‘cancelled’ after a ‘joke of a final’ saw Viggo Venn win.

The Norwegian comedian triumphed over young dancer Lilliana Clifton and teen magician Cillian O’Connor in Sunday’s final.

Tonight’s show was not one to miss.

Bruno Tonioli also broke down in tears during after after singer Malakai Bayoh‘s performance this evening.

Ant McPartlin was forced to apologise once again after a contestant swore during the live final.

Alesha Dixon was left red-faced when she made a blunder live on TV while on the judging panel.

Other viewers were left shocked after the live audience ‘booed’ a judge within seconds of the final starting.

A lot of fans all said the same thing after it was revealed that Tonikaku was this year’s wild card, and others had the same complaint minutes into the final.

And Simon Cowell was left struggling to speak after watching finalist Amy Lou sing on stage.
