BRITAIN’S Got Talent’s rarely-seen child star Josh Barry is unrecognisable 11 years after starring on the show.
The singer was just 16 years old when he wowed viewers and the judges alike with his rendition of My Girl by The Temptations back in 2010.
His London audition initially aired during the same episode as dance duo Twist and Pulse, who ultimately landed second place in that series before eventually winning Britain’s Got Talent spin-off The Champions in 2019.
Unfortunately, little Josh didn’t have quite as much luck, and though he made it through to the live semi-finals he did not secure enough votes to make the grand finale.
Throughout his short-lived tenure on the show, Amanda Holden described the then-teen as “confident” and “a showman”.
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan praised his “stage presence” and “charm” – adding that he made “the girls go crazy”.
Despite not shooting to fame on BGT, Josh still pursued a music career and has released several singles.
His first album Daydream Festival Mexico was released in 2016, and he even performed single Higher Than The Top at Glastonbury festival in 2017 after winning its Emerging Talent Competition.
Nowadays, Josh keeps his fans updated on Instagram, which has almost 10k followers – with the singer describing himself as a “Dreadlock Funkstar” in the page’s bio.
He is still performing across London having recently worked with drum and bass band Rudimental.
Josh performed two sold-out shows called The Josh Barry Experience in “secret locations” in the capital back in September.
