WIDE boy Frank Butcher and EastEnders wife Pat have been voted viewers’ most loved TV couple.
The pair elbowed Neighbours favourites Scott and Charlene — played by Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue, both 54 — into second place in a telly poll.

Frank was played by Mike Reid, who died in 2007.
One his most infamous scenes was when he turned up starkers apart from a spinning bow tie to surprise Pat, played by Pam St Clement, 80.
The poll of 1,500 viewers saw another EastEnders couple placed third — Den and Angie Watts, played by the late Leslie Grantham and Anita Dobson, 73.
Elite Singles, which ran the poll, said: “Frank and Pat Butcher are a great example of the kind of tragic couple that never quite manage to find their happy ending, but they certainly gave us a few laughs and thrills on their journey.
“The most bizarre, hilarious, and baffling of these being Frank’s nude doorstep arrival.
“It’s the exact sort of oddball un-romantic romance that delights British viewers and leaves the rest of the world scratching its head.”
