LOVE Island star Tom Clare is set to return to his day job less than a week since the series ended.
The professional footballer, 23, will join his team Macclesfield FC on the pitch on Saturday.

The striker – who joined the team back in June 2021 – appears to have no plans on ditching his football career for reality TV stardom.
Clearly proud of his Love Island journey, the official Macclesfield FC Twitter account shared a photo with Tom as the poster boy for the upcoming match.
Fans were thrilled to see that Tom will be back in the game after missing eight weeks of training while in the South African villa.
One joked: “Play the Love Island theme tune when the players walk out the tunnel.”
It comes after his teammates shared their support for the Barnsley lad after he made it to the final with Samie Elishi on Monday.
In a clip, the footballers cheered: “Tom, good luck for the final. We’re all behind you.”
Last night the Love Island’s finalists shared an emotional family reunion as they returned to the UK.
Tom and Samie and Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad flew back from South Africa after the final.
Families of the Love Island couples were waiting in the international arrivals area in Heathrow terminal three.
And the quartet received a big reception as they walked through customs after their 12 hour flight.
Samie was greeted by her best friend Abbey Allen who gushed over the pair on her own Instagram story.
Tom’s family including his parents Maxine and Jonathan as well as his friends were ready to welcome the footballer home.
The group included his pals Oliver Wilde, Ben Summers and Alice Ogden who stood proudly with their banner as they waited for the star.
During the family reunion episode, Samie’s mum Wendy and her sister Courtney also entered the villa alongside Tom’s mum Maxine and his sister Laura.
Samie’s mother claimed she’d never seen her daughter act in the way she did on the programme as she said saying: “He’s so lovely, he absolutely adores you Samie and you really like him don’t you?”
Whilst Tom’s sister gave her seal of approval as she noted: “She’s unbelievable, you make such a good couple, how affectionate you are with each other, you’re always looking for each other, it’s just so nice to see. I think she’s the one for you.”
