A former child star from Brookside has undergone a major transformation after leaving acting behind to pursue a career as a DJ. Billie Clements, who portrayed Imelda Clough in the controversial Channel 4 soap opera, is now almost unrecognisable from her days on screen.
Controversial Brookside storyline
During her time on the show from 2000 to 2003, Billie's character, Imelda, was involved in one of Brookside's most controversial storylines ever. Alongside her schoolfriend Paige, she bullied a character named Anthony, played by Ray Quinn, in a series of shocking and humiliating incidents.
Transition to DJing
Since leaving acting behind, Billie has embraced a new career as a DJ and Radio Presenter. Her social media accounts are filled with photos and videos of her performing on the decks, including appearances at Ibiza's famous O Beach, owned by Wayne Lineker.
Billie has been touring and sharing her DJ sets with enthusiastic crowds, showcasing her talent and passion for music.
One of her recent Instagram posts thanked everyone who partied with her over the summer and expressed gratitude to the DJs and performers who joined her on stage.
Billie's journey from child star to DJ is a testament to her versatility and determination to pursue her passion beyond the world of acting.
