A beloved Brookside legend is making her way to the cobbles of Coronation Street, 25 years after one of the soap's most controversial storylines.

Meet Suzanne Collins

Suzanne Collins, known for her role as Nikki Shadwick on Brookside, will be gracing the screens of Coronation Street in a guest role this month. The 62-year-old actress will portray a nursery worker where Abi Webster's young son Alfie attends.

Soap Opera History

Collins, who starred on Brookside from 1996 to 2003, was part of several high-profile storylines on the iconic soap, including themes of date-rape, stalking, and personal tragedy. After her time on Brookside, she ventured into various TV and stage roles.

Exciting Soap Crossovers

This isn't Collins' first return to the soap opera world, as she previously made a guest appearance on Hollyoaks in 2022. Additionally, Coronation Street fans can also look forward to seeing Samuel James from Birds of a Feather and EastEnders in a guest role as head of the prosecution against a character charged with murder.
