Separated at birth?
Bus driver John Simpson found himself in a real-life comedy sketch when he met his lookalike, TV Chuckle Brother Paul Elliott. The uncanny resemblance between the two left John thinking "Two me, two you" as fans of the children's show ChuckleVision stopped him for selfies.
A chance encounter at a music festival
John, 58, was in for a surprise when he and Paul, now a DJ, were brought together at the Fishburn Live music festival last month. Thrilled by the resemblance, Paul joked about John being his doppelganger and even remarked on John's psychedelic shirts that matched his own iconic style.
From viral posts to backstage invites
The duo discussed the late Barry Elliott, Paul's real-life brother and comedy partner, as well as comedian Bernie Clifton mistaking John for Paul and inviting him backstage at a show. Despite thinking the comparison would die out, John continues to delight his passengers and fans with his Chuckle Brother alter ego.
