Fans of the beloved BBC period drama, Call the Midwife, can breathe a sigh of relief as filming for the 15th series has officially been confirmed. The show, which is the broadcaster's most-watched drama, will kick off with a new Christmas special followed by a full series later this year.

Familiar faces such as Linda Bassett, Cliff Parisi, Georgie Glen, and Stephen McGann will be reprising their roles in the upcoming series. The cast is set to reunite next month to start shooting their scenes for both the new series and the Christmas special.
