Cameron Diaz, 52, is set to make a sensational return to the big screen after a decade-long hiatus from acting. The movie star will star in the brand new Netflix thriller, Back in Action, alongside Jamie Foxx.
Plot and Cast
In the film, Diaz and Foxx will portray a retired spy couple, Emily and Matt, who are forced back into the world of espionage after their cover is blown. The movie is set to premiere on January 17th, 2025, and also features Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, and Glenn Close.
Filming Chaos
Earlier this year, filming for the movie faced unexpected challenges when an unexploded WW2 bomb was discovered on set, leading to the cancellation of key stunts and an increase in the film's budget.
Family Life
Off-screen, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden welcomed their second child, a son named Cardinal Madden, in March 2024. The couple's first child, daughter Raddix, was born in January 2020 via surrogacy.
