HE is one of the most famous faces on breakfast television – but can you guess who it is from their adorable childhood throwback pic?
Appearing as a fresh-faced infant during the ‘80s, BBC viewers were teased with an image of a rather familiar face.
During a segment on BBC Breakfast back in 2016, those on the show were put under the spotlight, with their younger days showcased to the nation.
Appearing alongside his co-host Louise Minchin, Dan Walker revealed: “This morning, we’ve been asking people to send in their photos of them from ‘80s.”
Following the reveal, a youthful image of meteorologist Carol Kirkwood popped up on the screen – much to the amazement of both presenters.
Taken aback by the jaw-dropping throwback image, an open-mouthed Dan continued: “You look like a movie star, Carol.”
“There’s a lot going on in those eyes there, Carol, I like that – a lot.”
Up next, though, was Dan – and it’s safe to say that he’s changed a fair bit since his primary years.
After the presenters finished gushing over Carol, Louise continued: “This is Dan actually, let’s have a look at Dan.”
Sporting the once-omnipresent trend that was a bowl cut, Dan was seen grinning from ear to ear, with the presenter dubbing himself as a “ginger ninja”.
His co-host Louise added: “Oh, with a mum’s haircut, which I just think is lovely.”
The 44-year-old, evidently unamused by his mother’s hairdressing skills, quickly interjected: “I stopped my mother cutting my hair around the age of 12 when I realised what she was doing.”
Just last year, Dan put his best foot forward on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor.
Finishing fifth overall, the presenter appeared alongside the stunning Nadiya Bychkova.
Walker was a fan favourite during his time on the competition, avoiding the dreaded dance-off until his elimination on 5 December.
