CAROL Vorderman shared her shock with fans after using a filter on Instagram.
The Countdown star shared a picture of her face taken using the rendering tool.
The filter removed all traces of lines and age spots on Carol’s face.
The 61-year-old remarked: “Omg I’m shocked….this is the first time I’ve ever tried a filter…..
“I had no idea it changes you like this …..In a bit of a state of befuddlement
“I’m so “insta naiive” tbh 
”
And while responding to a comment saying she didn’t need the filter, Carol added: “It’s horrible what it does.
“I took the particular filter from a post today by someone young and famous… I genuinely had no idea…”
Replying to another comment, Carol said: “So weird isn’t it? Genuinely shocked…
“I just [saw] someone young and famous who I like following using this filter so I thought… oh I’ll try it… bloody hell… I had no idea it’s all such complete nonsense… wow.”
Carol – the only star to win Rear of the Year twice – often shows off her age-defying curves on Instagram.
She celebrated her 61st birthday, which falls on Christmas Eve, by posing in skintight PVC leggings telling fans: “My cup overfloweth with MOJO.”
Earlier this year the star was dubbed Britain’s very own Kim Kardashian thanks to her bikini selfies and tight trousers.
She wore a sensational skintight leather dress to a charity awards do last month, posing in her Liverpool hotel room.
And she delighted fans in the summer by posting from her £1,900-a-week holiday in Portugal.
She posed in a hot tub at the swish Juice Master retreat in a hot tub wearing a nude bikini – leading many fans to believe she was starkers.
