Coverage of the Wimbledon tournament will take its place

Bosses at the BBC have taken the decision in order to allow for coverage of the upcoming Wimbledon tournament.

As a result, Casualty has been pulled from the airwaves in a move set to cause backlash from fans.

On Saturday 8th July, the programme has been axed from its usual 9:15pm timeslot.

Instead, a highlights replay of the day’s Wimbledon action will be aired instead.

It is thought that the show will return the following week.

Viewers have recently watched on as things finally cleared up for Jodie when her friends took her to the pub for a leaving do.

Unbeknownst to her, Cam Mickelthwaite (Barney Walsh) debated on telling her how he felt about her but was crushed to find out she had slept with Ryan Firth (Eddie Joe Robbinson).

His devastation continued when he learned she seemingly slept with Max too.

Jodie was confronted by both Cam and Ryan but she’s horrified to realise Ryan told Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) that Max covered up one of her mistakes.

A deadly explosion also rocked the show with mystery surrounding who will make it out alive.

Viewers will be waiting on tenterhooks to discover the outcome of the latest plot.
