FAITH Cadogan is getting a wake-up call from her life of partying when her son Luka is the victim of a dangerous predator.
To make matters worse, the young boy will also be involved in a horrific car crash in upcoming scenes of Casualty.
After her failed one-night stand with Angus – who ended up robbing her before blocking her number – and while she still mourns the loss of her husband Lev Malinovsky, Faith (portrayed by actress Kirsty Mitchell) is caught up in a cycle of partying.
In a future instalment of the BBC One soap, the nightlife takes a toll on Faith’s work as she shows up for her shift hungover from the night before.
With their friendship still hanging in balance following a fallout, Faith gets no sympathy from Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) as she struggles to remain professional with a patient.

But while she’s distracted at work, her son Luka (Tom Mulheron) waits to be picked up from football practice.
Left out in the cold and all alone, the boy is approached by Darren.
With the use of reverse psychology, Darren is able to convince Luka of climbing into his car.
Grooming the nine-year-old even further, Darren claims to be a football scout and tells him that he has real potential.
Darren attempts to drive out of Holby City with Luka… and reaches out for his leg.
A panicked Luka digs his nails into Darren’s arm and grabs the steering wheel, veering the vehicle into oncoming traffic.
This leads to Luka being brought into the ED, just missing Faith by minutes as she has gone to look for him after realising her mistake.
But while everyone seems to believe Darren’s cover, as he informs the hospital staff that he is Luka’s football coach, Stevie grows increasingly suspicious of him.
As Luka is being checked over, Darren threatens him to keep quiet.
Stevie keeps her eyes open and is further startled when she spots the nail marks on Darren’s arm.
Will Stevie be able to save Luka from Darren, and return him to Faith?
Could this run-in with a predator help Stevie and Faith rekindle their friendship?
Casualty airs on BBC One.
