CATHERINE Tate had Eurovision fans in hysterics as they accused her of being ‘hammered.’
The 53-year-old star was the spokesperson for the UK’s votes live at the Eurovision last night, which took place at the M&S Bank Area in Liverpool.

The Doctor Who star looked stunning as she appeared on screen in a red gown.
She said: “Hello Liverpool. In 1980 I watched Johnny Logan win. Oh Johnny, Johnny!
“And now to business, and the 12 points, le douze points, from the United Kingdom goes to Sweden.”
After she announced the news that Sweden were being awarded 12 points from the UK, BBC viewers took to Twitter to question whether Catherine was ‘hammered.’

One person wrote: “Our Queen, Catherine Tate. She’s so drunk and such a riot.”
Another said: “Can we just have Catherine Tate as full time host every year?” while a third added: “Still thinking about how drunk Catherine Tate was last night and how much I adore her.”
Someone else penned: “How drunk is Catherine Tate rn,” and a fifth wrote: “CATHERINE TATE DRUNK CATHERINE TATE ALERT.”
Another Eurovision viewer echoed: “Catherine Tate was SO DRUNK LMAO.”
After a thrilling showcase of the 26 countries’ performances, Eurovision voters celebrated as the 2023 winner was crowned.
Sweden’s Eurovision 2023 entry Loreen once again won the Eurovision song contest after her crowning glory in 2012.
Gathering an enormous amount of support from the European public, Loreen topped the jury and public vote with 583 points.
She beat runners-up Finland’s entry Käärijä by 57 points and Isreal’s entry Noa Kiral by 221 points.
Loreen performed a song called Tattoo at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovision’s UK entry, Mae Muller, suffered a defeat after performing last in a favourable position.
The UK finished in second-last place with 24 points compared to Sweden’s whopping 583.
Despite the result, fans have said how Mae should be ‘proud’ of her performance and representing the country – but branded the result a ‘fix’.
One said: “Massive fix for 50 years of ABBA next year.”
While a fourth commented: “What an absolute FIX! Mae be proud.”
