Denise Van Outen shares her future plans on Gogglebox with celebrity pal Duncan James
Denise Van Outen, the well-loved TV presenter, has revealed that she has no intention of leaving the popular Channel 4 show, Celebrity Gogglebox. Since joining the show in 2019, Denise has become a fan favourite, particularly for her on-screen chemistry with fellow celebrity, Duncan James from the boyband Blue.
Denise spoke exclusively to The Celeb Report about her return to Gogglebox for the next series. She expressed her excitement about continuing to work with Duncan, whom she considers to be one of her best friends. She also cheekily referred to him as a "bit of eye candy." She added, "It just made sense that we'd do it together, and he's very pleasing to the eye, he's nice to look at on my sofa."
A laugh-out-loud experience for viewers
Gogglebox never fails to entertain viewers with its hilarious moments and candid commentary from the stars. Denise herself is a fan of other pairings on the show, including Rylan and his mum, as well as Bez and Shaun, who she finds incredibly funny. She described the show as a place where you can sit back, enjoy, and have a laugh, thanks to the naturally funny people on it.
Some regrets about what's been aired
While Gogglebox provides plenty of laughs, Denise admitted that there are times when she wishes certain things she said weren't aired. She explained that the cameras are easy to forget because they are so small, and while watching TV and binging on shows, it feels like you're alone. Denise hopes that the crew continues to choose wisely what they include in the final episode.
Denise's life outside Gogglebox
When she's not appearing on Gogglebox, Denise leads a busy life, juggling her successful TV career, motherhood, and a new romance. As a dedicated mother to her 12-year-old daughter Betsy, whom she shares with actor ex-husband Lee Mead, Denise always finds time to help her daughter with schoolwork. She praised the GoStudent online tutoring service for providing 1:1 support and helping Betsy with subjects she previously struggled with, such as History and French.
An endorsement for GoStudent
Denise's positive experience with GoStudent led her to collaborate with the online tutoring service. She believes that learning online is familiar to children due to the lockdown, and the personalized attention helps eliminate distractions and accommodate different learning paces. Denise encourages parents to take advantage of the offer for a free 1:1 trial lesson to see if GoStudent is the right fit for them.
