CELEBRITY Masterchef is staple viewing for cooking show lovers – and BBC have some good news in store.
The beloved cooking show is back TONIGHT for a festive 2020 Christmas special – with Janet Street-Porter, Christopher Biggins, Dev Griffin and Vicky Pattison taking on the MasterChef kitchen.
Who is in the Celebrity MasterChef 2020 lineup?
Dev Griffin
Radio 1 presenter Dev Griffin will be returning to MasterChef once more for a Christmas special.
Dev was presenter of the weekend breakfast show from 2014, before moving to the Weekend Afternoon Show in 2018.
Dev became a finalist on Celebrity Masterchef 2017 alongside alongside Ulrika Jonsson and eventual winner, Angellica Bell.
He also appeared on Strictly in 2019, when he was partnered up with Dianne Buswell.
Janet Street Porter
Journalist and TV host Janet Street-Porter will be making an appearance in the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas special.
Janet has worked as deputy fashion editor of the Daily Mail in 1969 and fashion editor of the Evening Standard two years later.
In 2011, Janet became a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women.
Janet came third on Celebrity MasterChef back in 2013.
Christopher Biggins
Iconic British actor, panto and reality TV star Christopher Biggins will also be returning to the MasterChef kitchens.
Christopher is no stranger to reality TV. In 2007 he was crowned King of the Jungle when he won series seven of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
He also competed in Celebrity Come Dine With Me on which he won £1000 for his chosen charity.
He also appeared on the 2016 series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Vicky Pattison
Reality star Vicky Pattison is also set to join the Celebrity MasterChef special.
She rose to fame on MTV’s Geordie Shore before being crowned Queen of the jungle when she won I’m A Celebrity in 2015.
Vicky has been a regular panellist on Loose Women and made guest appearances on This Morning, Celebrity Dinner Date, Celebrity Juice and Virtually Famous.
Craig Revel Horwood
Craig Revel Horwood will also be donning his apron this Christmas.
Craig is famed for his choreography and directing, but is best known for his role as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing.
He has a reputation for being the harshest of the judges and is often booed by the studio audience – lets hope he can handle the heat of John and Gregg on MasterChef!
Amar Latif
Amar Latif is a British entrepreneur, motivational speaker, world traveller and TV presenter.
He owns the company Traveleyes, which helps visually impaired and sighted travellers embarking on trips around the world together, sharing their experiences.
In 2020, he became the first ever blind contestant to appear on MasterChef.
Crissy Rock
Crissy Rock is best known for playing miserable hotel manager Janey York in the sitcom Benidorm.
She featured on Celebrity MasterChef 2020.
The star also took part in the 2011 series of I’m A Celebrity, finishing sixth.
Spencer Matthews
Spencer Matthews is a reality TV star famed for his appearance on Made In Chelsea.
In 2012 he also appeared as ‘The Bachelor’ in The Bachelor UK series 5.
In 2018, Spencer featured on Celebrity Masterchef and had a successful run, reaching the final.
When does is Celebrity MasterChef Christmas special on?
The first episode of the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook Off will air on Monday 21st December
It will show at 9pm on BBC One.
