CELEBRITY MasterChef viewers have claimed Joey Essex was ‘fuming’ when Judi Love was announced as the winner of the BBC series last night.
The comedienne, 41, won judges Greg Wallace and John Torode over with her Caribbean-themed Christmas dinner, and her Jamaican Christmas black cake.
And while many were thrilled with her win, some fans couldn’t help but comment that Joey was “raging” that he missed out being crowned the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off 2021 champ.
Taking to Twitter, one eagle-eyed viewer penned: “Joey Essex is fuming! #CelebrityMasterChef”.
“Joey was raging #CelebrityMasterChef,” another claimed.
A third chimed in: “Look on Joey Essex face when they announced who won was the best bit about this show. Mainly because the rest of it was pretty rubbish!”
After Judi was announced as the winner of the celebrity series, several fans took to Twitter to say Joey should have won after surprising them with his cooking skills.
While some fans were delighted for her win, others took to Twitter to say Joey should have taken home the trophy.
They were stunned the Towie star could even cook in the first place, let alone wow the judges with his Yorkshire pudding and cupcakes.
Fans were impressed with Joey’s personal journey after he said he finally ‘believed in himself’ after managing to impress the judge’s with his culinary skills.
After the winner was announced, fans flocked to Twitter to comment.
One fan wrote: “DONE AMAZING FEEL LIKE HE SHOULD’VE WON THAT.”
Another said: “Look on Joey Essex face when they announced who won was the best bit about this show.”
A third chimed in: “Joey Essex is fuming.”
A fourth added: “His Yorkshire pudding was amazing.”
Meanwhile fans were fuming to find out Judi had won the show before it even aired thanks to a spoiler on C5.
They took to Twitter to complain after the winner was announced just a minute after the show started.
One ranted: “Thinking about it not only did Ch 5 leak the winner of Celebrity master chef cook off the showed a picture of the person, has someone at the BBC leaked this?
“How did Ch 5 get the info?”
Another said: “Are you kidding? What dipsticks announced the winner before it has even been on?”
A third chimed in: “Channel 5 has announced the winner before it has even been on. Thanks for the spoiler. I hope you get some coal on Saturday.”
