Celebrity Masterchef fans left ‘in stitches’ by Benidorm star Crissy Rock’s DISASTROUS dessert

CELEBRITY Masterchef fans were left in stitches after Crissy Rock’s disastrous mishap whilst making a dessert during last night’s episode.

The Benidorm star, 62, got her salt and sweet bowls mixed up and managed to pour 100g of salt into her SECOND attempt of making salted caramel sauce.

Crissy was joined by reality star Spencer Matthews, Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood and presenter Amar Latif on the show for Christmas special.

She some how managed to mess up her first attempt of the caramel sauce by putting too much sugar in the pan.

During her second attempt, she was kindly reminded by co-star Spencer that all she needed was a pinch of salt to make it perfect.

Moments later she poured the whole bowl in without thinking.

After realising what she had done, she shouted: “Oh no! Oh nooo! I’ve put the whole bowl of salt in it!”

Presenter John Torode wondered over to her cooking station to see what all the commotion was about and shouted “You put a whole bowl of salt in it?!”

She replied: “Yeah. Shall I do it again?”

As the actress got on with her THIRD attempt of the sauce, while the celebrity chef said to the camera: “The story of caramel continues… Second attempt, made a beautiful caramel and tipped in 100g of salt.

“It’s supposed to be salted caramel. It’s not supposed to be assaulted caramel!”

Many fans of the BBC One show couldn’t get over how Crissy managed to mess it up so badly.

One wrote: “SHE’S GRATED HER CARAMEL SAUCE I AM DONE #CelebrityMasterchef”

Another said: “How can one person mess up caramel so much? #MasterChefUK #celebritymasterchef.”

A third simply added: “Crissy,” with a number of laughing emojis.

Meanwhile others couldn’t help but comment on John’s hilarious pun.

One tweeted: “Assaulted caramel… #celebritymasterchef.”
