Emmerdale star couldn't resist a dig at contestant's Italian heritage
Amy Walsh, star of Emmerdale, couldn't help but take a cheeky swipe at fellow Celebrity MasterChef contestant Luca Bish during tonight's episode, as the final three contestants were confirmed.
Luca's persistent reminders of his Italian roots
Luca, who rose to fame on Love Island and grew up in Brighton, has been consistently bringing up his Italian heritage throughout the BBC cooking show. His constant references to his family's background seemed to have irritated Amy.
Amy's sarcastic response leaves viewers in stitches
During the semi-final, Luca mentioned that he wished they were cooking pasta, to which Amy sarcastically replied, "Are you Italian? You never mentioned that," leaving viewers in hysterics. Fans of the show took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their support for Amy's dig at Luca.
A job offer from renowned TV chef Raymond Blanc
During this week's episode, the remaining contestants had the opportunity to showcase their skills to renowned TV chef Raymond Blanc. While Luca didn't get to serve his beloved pasta, he impressed Blanc with a salt marsh lamb rack, earning him a perfect score of ten-out-of-ten. Blanc even offered Luca a job in his kitchen "anytime".
Joining Luca in the final: GoCompare singer Wynne Evans
Joining Luca in the highly anticipated final next week is GoCompare singer Wynne Evans. Unfortunately, The Wanted's Max George was eliminated from the competition in tonight's episode.
Notable eliminations from this series
As the competition nears its finale, several contestants have already been eliminated. These include Richie Anderson, apl.de.ap, James Buckley, Dianne Buswell, Dani Dyer, Sam Fox, Cheryl Hole, Jamelia, and Rudimental's Leon "Locksmith" Rolle.
