John’s popularity dropped after flashing accusation resurfaced in 2021

He will be joined by stars including Boris Johnson‘s sister Rachel, Love Island star Ovie Soko and Towie’s Pete Wicks who was forced to pull out last year after a nasty accident during filming.

The Celeb Report has contacted Channel 4 for comment.

John, 56, is a household name on British TV thanks to his long career in show business.

But in May 2021, he came under fire following allegations of sexual misconduct.

The actor was accused of flashing at his cast on Doctor Who and its spin-off Torchwood.

He played Captain Jack Harness and was a TV regular until 12 years ago.

John was forced to apologise in May 2021, and told The Guardian that his “high-spirited behaviour” was “only ever intended in good humour to entertain colleagues on set and backstage”.

He said: “With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour and I have apologised for this previously.

“Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed.”

The actor was later dropped from his role as a judge on Dancing On Ice in October 2021.

He had previously appeared on the show as a contestant in 2006 and was the fourth person eliminated.

Although it was never confirmed, It’s widely believed that the resurfacing of the allegations led to his DOI exit.
