CELEBS Go Dating fans were glued to their screens last night as Wayne Lineker told his fellow celebs he’d broken it off with Hannah.
The 58-year-old had been dating the 39-year-old – though on Thursday’s episode, she decided she wasn’t feeling the match and broke things off.
The potential romance got off to a rocky start, after Wayne – who is Gary Lineker’s brother – confessed he had never dated a woman older than 30.
After Hannah ended things, viewers saw Wayne telling his fellow celebs that he’d been the one to instigate the chat.
Dancer Curtis Pritchard, 24, and TV presenter Karim Zeroual, 27, listened as Wayne sighed in the bedroom: “It’s just horrible, isn’t it?”
“So I’ve just had a conversation with Hannah. Because I said that I don’t want her to hear through the grapevine that ‘I’ve not got feelings for you’, you know?”
He added that Hannah was leaving the Sydenhurst mansion in Surrey – where filming took place – for good.
And that he was ready for “the booby bus”.
But fans weren’t happy with Wayne’s version of events, particularly as voiceover comic Rob Beckett pointed out that Hannah had dumped him first.
One viewer tweeted: The audacity of Wayne Lineker telling the boys he patched her first. WHY ARE MEN?! You’re literally getting filmed every second.”
Another added: “Knew Wayne would pretend he pied the poor girl.”
Meanwhile, a few fans saw the funny side of the filmed interaction.
A viewer joked: “Wayne Lineker getting pied on celebs go dating and telling the lads he pied her is comedy.”
“My skin has actual hives from listening to Wayne Lineker lie to the lads afraid to admit it was Hannah who ended it,” said another.
