CELEBS Go Dating host Anna Williamson has revealed some of the new series’ horny stars ‘gave into sexual urges’ inside the £30million luxury mansion.
The E4 dating show returns on Monday night with the likes of Chloe Ferry, Joey Essex, and Curtis Pritchard looking for love again.
With the coronavirus pandemic having kept personal contact to a minimum over the last year, Anna said the sexual tension was palpable.
Safe in the knowledge that everyone in the house had quarantined beforehand and was Covid-free, the celebs were able to let loose.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, Anna said: “There’s an awful lot of testosterone and oestrogen flying around that mansion.
“A lot of people who haven’t been able to be sexually active throughout lockdown, and many of them, in their own words, were like a bursting cannon.
“Let’s just say some of them had to give into their urges.”
It comes after The Celeb Report revealed there is a ‘sex cottage’ on the grounds of the estate where the stars can take their dates, similar to Live Island’s Hideaway.
The show was given an overhaul to ensure that it could be filmed safely, and it’s resulted in the most dramatic series to date.
“This a completely condensed dating process,” said Anna. “We’ve really seen the results of having that luxury of everyone together 24/7.
“What happens with that, the law of proximity, which Paul [Brunson, dating coach] and I talk about in the show, is basically the quicker and more time you spend with somebody in a more concentrated and condensed environment, the quicker the relationships will establish themselves and build. We’ve definitely seen this series more heightened emotions than any previous series.”
DJ Tom Zanetti and Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann are two of the stars who hit it off inside the house.
And while the celebs are meant to find love with non-famous people, Anna said she and fellow expert Paul won’t stand in the way of a blossoming romance.
“Our celebrities always become very close with each other when they shoot a series because they naturally gravitate towards each other for support and morale.
“It’s not in the rules, and we don’t encourage celebrities to give interest in their fellow celebrities, but again we’re open to the fact if there’s a genuine attraction we will monitor it and support it if we feel it’s something that potentially has legs.”
