Celebs Go Dating’s Curtis Pritchard devastated as Sophie brutally dumps him on camera

CURTIS Pritchard was left speechless after his love interest on Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion savagely dumped him.

In a first look at tonight’s episode, the dancer, 25, couldn’t believe Sophie was not interested in pursuing their relationship as she tried to explain to him they were too “different”.

Former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard gets some bad news on tonight’s Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion

Sitting on one of the outdoor sofas, Sophie starts the conversation with the phrase nobody wants to hear, “I wanted to have a bit of a chat.”

“I feel like I really like you, but it feel like there’s something missing for me,” Sophie stumbles as Curtis encourages her, “just throw it out there”.

“I don’t want to feel like I’m forcing it, I just feel like we’re very different,” she finishes.

But Curtis does not seem to understand and asks, “in a more blunt way what are you saying?”

But Curtis couldn’t get his head around it

Sophie felt like she’d been pretty clear and said the pair were too different

A shocked Sophie thinks she’s been quite clear, “I feel like I’ve said it, have I not.”

But Curtis could not let up, “do you feel like we could be friends? Tell me straight, tell me blunt”.

Getting dumped was probably shocked Sophie dumped him after he revealed he liked her and she seemed keen too.

And his feelings were definitely reciprocated at the time as Sophie replied: “Me too.”

What may have been his downfall was giving away too much about what he’s like in between the sheets.

Curtis is trying to find love on the E4 dating show after breaking up with his Love Island sweetheart, Maura Higgins

Earlier in the week he tried to impress his date Sophie by spilling the beans on what he’s like when he gets down and dirty during last night’s episode.

After being told by love gurus Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson that his potential beau thought he wasn’t confident, Curtis made a point of showing a different side to him.

The pair got stuck into their wine-tasting date – which was filled with plenty of sexual innuendos and flirty banter.

They went on to have a quick de-brief about their date, where Curtis mentioned that he made a conscious effort to show off this side that Sophie was looking for.

Sophie was his second date on the show after he sent Kesia packing

He explained: “You did say that you see me as a nice guy, persona, this and that. But behind closed doors, I’ve got that wild side…

“I don’t mean in the bedroom – but that as well.”

An intrigued Sophie replied: “What’s the wild side?”

“I mean behind closed doors when it’s just fun, being wild, being stupid, being crazy around the house,” Curtis went on to add.

He’s appearing on Celebs Go Dating alongside Wayne Lineker, Chloe Ferry, Karim Zeroual, Kimberley Hart-Simpson and Sophie Hermann

His date simply replied: “Interesting…”

Curtis – who is the older brother of Strictly’s AJ Pritchard – first shot to fame in 2019 when he joined the fifth series of Love Island.

He infamously broke Amy Hart’s heart after admitting he fancied model Maura Higgins more than her.

Curtis and Maura made it to the final four on the show and managed seven months together before splitting in March.

Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion airs Sunday to Thursday at 9pm on E4
