CELEBS Go Dating star Ryan-Mark Parsons has slammed this year’s series of The Apprentice saying the contestants are “dull and boring”.
The 21-year-old, who appeared on the BBC business show in 2019, admitted that the current series is nothing compared to the year he appeared on it.
Known for being brutally honest with his opinions, Ryan-Mark didn’t hold back and said that the contestants need to be “bolder” if they stand a chance at impressing Lord Alan Sugar.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, Ryan-Mark opened up about his thoughts on this year’s series: “I think they need to be bolder, no characters I have to say.
“I haven’t heard any headlines.
“I think they’re a bit boring and dull this year, nothing on my year.”
Ryan-Mark joined The Apprentice, aged 19, as the youngest-ever candidate since the show began in 2005.
He had many stand out moments which left viewers in hysterics, including the time he tested one of the rollercoasters at Thorpe Park in week six but was ultimately fired “with regret” two weeks later.
The TV star, who was last week branded the “rudest person” that love guru Paul C Brunson had ever met, has been on a string of “very traumatic” dates so far on the E4 show.
However, Ryan-Mark’s luck may be about to change after he revealed that he’s “exploring” a new romance.
“There is a big problem with me and the agents, I’ve been a bit naughty so far,” the TV personality said.
“There is something that happens I’m exploring that with that person.
“It’s been a very traumatic experience so far, in terms of all of the dates have been bad but there is a positive ending near the end of the series.”
He went onto praise relationship experts Paul and Anna Williamson for putting up with him after numerous disastrous dates – and said that their advice has changed his dating habits for good.
“I would say they give us really tough love, they don’t hold back with the advice and I think I’ve learnt to maybe not be so harsh initially and maybe just take a little bit of shallow ends first,” he added.
SHOWDOWN
Last week, the London-born star was scored -3 out of ten from his date – the worst in the dating agency’s history.
Ryan-Mark laughed off the bad review, but dating expert Paul wasn’t impressed.
Paul insisted: “You are literally the most rude person I have ever met.
“Do you know what rudeness is? It’s a defence mechanism to cover up insecurities and low self esteem.”
Ryan-Mark shook his head as he disagreed with Paul’s claims.
Paul added: “Here’s the problem – you’re not progressing.”
Ryan-Mark fired back: “Yeah because you’re giving me s*** dates.
Paul claimed: “You make the dates bad”, but Ryan-Mark insisted: “No, they’re bad to begin with.”
The pair argued back and forth with Paul explaining: “No, they start bad because you start in a very rude position.”
