The Scared of the Dark finale will air at 9pm tonight

The show – which is hosted by Danny Dyer – has been airing across consecutive nights this week, with the final taking place this evening.

The 90-minute show will begin at 9pm, but it means popular celeb challenge show Taskmaster has been pushed out of its usual slot.

The latest series of Taskmaster started last month and usually airs at 9pm every Thursday.

But because of the Scared of the Dark finale, it will now be broadcast at 10.30pm.

However, Taskmaster fans need not totally despair, as Channel 4 has offered them a way round the schedule change.

The official Taskmaster Twitter account updated fans today, writing: “Bingo stars and Ringo Starrs on tonight’s episode of #Taskmaster – on at the later time of 10.30pm on Channel 4, but you can watch it on All4 from 9pm as per!”

So while it won’t be on the terrestrial channel at 9pm, it will be available on the network’s streaming service at the right time.

This series of Taskmaster stars Frankie Boyle, Mae Martin, Jenny Eclair, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Ivo Graham.

Meanwhile the Scared of the Dark cast has included Scarlett Moffatt, Chris Eubank, Paul Gascoigne and Max George.
