Channel 5 Confirms Return of Beloved Reality Show Rich House, Poor House

Channel 5 has announced that popular reality show "Rich House, Poor House" will be returning for another series.

After nine successful seasons, the broadcaster has confirmed that the show, which follows two families from contrasting backgrounds as they swap lives, will be back on air in just a few days.

In each episode, viewers watch as a less well-off family is given the budget of their significantly wealthier counterparts. The families also switch houses, providing a unique insight into their different spending habits and lifestyles.

The new series of "Rich House, Poor House" will premiere on Sunday at 8pm on Channel 5. This season will introduce viewers to Maxine McCarthy, a former boxer-turned-entrepreneur who has made a fortune with her beauty training academy, Cosmetic Couture, based in Manchester.

On the other side of the wealth spectrum are Danny and Nicky, a couple who work low-wage jobs and have five children. Despite their financial struggles, both Danny and Nicky are determined to improve their skills by studying barbering and makeup, respectively.

In an upcoming episode, Danny and Nicky will have the opportunity to live in Maxine's luxurious Cheshire mansion, while Maxine experiences life in their small rented house in Manchester with her children and housekeeper, Chor.
