THE RHS Chelsea Flower Show will return for the 2022 event from Tuesday May 24.

How does it work?
Viewers can watch garden tours, demonstrations and garden inspiration from their homes.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show will run from Tuesday May 24 to Saturday May 28 on BBC One and BBC Two.
From Tuesday to Friday, the show will air between 8am and 8pm.
On Saturday, the show will commence at 8am and conclude at 5:30pm.

What events are on?
Floral Platinum Jubilee
Her Majesty has been the Society’s Royal Patron since 1952.
Her first visit to the show as The Queen was back in 1955 and she has attended more than 50 times during her reign.
Acclaimed florist Simon Lycett has created many floral arrangements for the Royal family.
He has designed a bespoke sculptural portrait of Queen Elizabeth which will be covered with an assortment of native British-grown tree branches on both sides.
The sculpture will include connecting inner shelves arranged with 70 terracotta pots planted with lily of the valley, one of The Queen’s favourite plants as it was featured in her Coronation bouquet.
RHS Plant of the Year
An audience of Plant Committee and Trials Forum experts will assess the shortlist of diverse and new plants that have been launched by Great Pavilion exhibitors.
They will take the innovation, impact and appeal of each plant into consideration then will select a single plant to be awarded RHS Plant of the Year.
The winning plant, the second plant and the third will take pride of place at the show’s Plant of the Year display in the Great Pavilion where all the finalists can be seen.
RHS Chelsea Sustainable Garden Product of the Year 2022
The RHS is dedicated to focusing on sustainability and mitigating climate change.
To encourage sustainability, the Chelsea Sustainable Garden Product of the Year award will uplift the very best sustainable garden products.
The winning product will be announced on Monday 23 May 2022, while the RHS Chelsea Sustainable Garden Product of the Year stand in the Great Pavilion will showcase all the finalists.
BBC Studios Our Green Planet & RHS Bee Garden
The show which will be providing tips and hacks on what we can do to assist bees and other pollinators.
Hands Off Mangrove
The ‘Hands Off Mangrove’ garden was created by Hayden-Smith’s gardening institution Grow2Know.

A Rewilding Britain Landscape
Also set to appear are designers Lulu Urquhart and Adam Hunt who will reimagine ancient countryside aesthetics with their ‘A Rewilding Britain Landscape’ garden.
