Controversy Surrounding the Sequel
Despite its success, Chicken Run 2 has faced some controversy due to its "ageist" cast shake-up. Actress Julia Sawalha, 55, claimed that she was dropped from the cast of Dawn of the Nugget after being informed via email that her voice "now sounds 'too old'" and that they were looking for a younger actress to replace her.
