Classic British Crime Drama Bergerac Makes Epic Comeback with New Cast

New Episodes and All-Star Cast

A classic British crime drama is set to make a triumphant return after more than 30 years off the air. UKTV's Drama channel is rebooting the fan-favorite show "Bergerac" with six brand new episodes and a fresh all-star cast.

The Reimagined Lineup

The casting for "Bergerac" has been unveiled, four decades since its very first episode aired. Damien Molony will lead the new lineup as the popular detective, taking on the role previously played by John Nettles. Joining Molony is Zoë Wanamaker, known for her roles in "My Family," and actor Philip Glenister.

New Case, New Format

The original run of "Bergerac" featured a new mystery in each episode. However, the reboot will take on a different format, focusing on one case across all six episodes. The teaser reveals a gripping storyline where viewers will see Jim Bergerac, played by Molony, grappling with personal struggles while investigating a wealthy Jersey family murder.

Zoë Wanamaker will portray Charlie Hungerford, while Glenister takes on the role of Arthur Wakefield. The lineup is completed by Robert Gilbert, Sasha Behar, and Celine Arden.
