Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me is looking for contestants to join the new series

Now show bosses have been putting the feelers out in places such as Bolton, North Wales, Bournemouth and Norwich for more cooking hopefuls to join the next series.

Filming for the new series will happen in July and to enter, contestants simply need to fill in this form, be over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.

Come Dine With Me will be celebrating its 20th season with producers looking for people with “bags of energy.”

“Are you bored of cooking for your partner? Housemates? Children? Think your cooking skills need to be shared with the world?” casting producer, Bianca Clayton, told North Wales Pioneer.

“Do you think you’ve got what it takes to host the perfect dinner party and walk away with £1,000?

“Following the success of previous episodes in North Wales we are back looking for hosts to create the recipe for success. We are looking for keen cooks with bags of energy and who are up for the challenge of winning £1,000.”

The latest series comes off the heels of the show’s first ever spin-off, Come Dine With Me: The Professionals.

The twist on the latest series will see the culinary whizzes take on other kitchens, in a bid to be crowned the best independent restaurant in town.

Voiceover king Dave Lamb will oversee proceedings as restaurateurs dine in their rivals’ gaff for the show, Come Dine With Me: The Professionals.

Producer Tim Carter, from MultiStory Media, said: “For 15 glorious years, we’ve been celebrating the culinary creations and epic fails that pour forth from the nation’s home kitchens.

“Now, as they recover from the battering of the last couple of years, Come Dine With Me cheers on Britain’s restaurants with its customary love note to gastronomic endeavour.”

More than 2,000 episodes of the much-loved original have aired, alongside the spin-off series, Couples Come Dine With Me.

A source said: “Viewers love the authenticity of the show, whether it’s a diner effing and blinding through a kitchen fail or when they struggle to contain their emotions following a loss.

“We expect less of that in The Professionals — but who knows?

“The stakes are higher as the venue’s reputation is on the line — and local rivalries may already exist.”

Come Dine With Me airs on Channel 4 and is available on All 4.
