Come Dine With Me viewers all had the same complaint about the “posh” contestant
Viewers felt the contestant was “too up herself”
Winery owner Izzy decided to treat them to a night of sophistication.
Her three courses consisted of stilton mushrooms with homemade toasted bread for starter, chicken Saltimbocca with Parmentier potatoes, asparagus and cherry vine tomatoes for the main and rhubarb crumble with custard for dessert.
However, viewers didn’t like the contestants mannerisms during the show, as some branded her “snooty” and slammed her being “too up herself.”
Fans of the show took to Twitter to complain about the contestant.
One viewer wrote: “This snooty bint is making a standard tea and thinks she’s serving classy dinner party food. Far too up herself.”
Another added: “She’s insufferable. Had a laugh that she didn’t think some of the others have had Stilton before, like it’s not something you can get at every Tesco/Sainsbury’s.”
A third viewer penned: “People (like the person cooking tonight) who think they’re posh are possibly even more insufferable than actually posh people.”
A fourth added: “The chocolate game and she says it’s a sophisticated dinner party. Definitely not posh.”
The guests seemed to like Izzy’s sophisticated themed night, but they had one complaint about the dessert.
They felt that Izzy’s rhubarb crumble with custard didn’t live up to their expectations.
Despite the dessert letting her down, Izzy still managed to bag herself a respectable 31 points.
Come Dine With Me continues tonight at 5pm on Channel 4
