A COME Dine With Me legend made famous for cramming a whisk into his gob is finally set to cash in 10 years after appearing on the show.
DJ Kev Riley became a meme after bizarrely slurping cheesecake mix off the kitchen utensil.
Now after a Reddit Q&A session saw him bombarded with thousands of questions, personalised messaging service Cameo reached out and suggested he monetise himself.
He charges £25 a pop for fans looking for a special message or for him to recreate his whisk party trick.
He told Metro: “I’ve had 20 requests in in two days.
“I started low thinking I’m Z-list at the very best so I looked for the cheapest and did it as that, but then I got an email straightaway from Cameo and they know what they’re doing, saying ‘you’re too cheap, you know, put it up!’
“I put it up to 30 quid, but they’ve email me again saying you could get more but I’m just going to leave it at that.”
Kev has become one of the most recognisable contestants following that bizarre scene.
Speaking on the Curious Cast podcast last year, he said: “Do you know what? Loads of people ask me that, and I don’t suppose I know the answer.
“It was just something I did to make her [the producer] laugh really.”
‘And I knew at the time that I did it – because they all absolutely wet themselves laughing – I thought, “That’s definitely gonna be in the show.”
The popular moment has since become a meme on social media, which Kev finds hilarious.
He continued: “And then when it was on, it wasn’t something that everyone was talking about, but it was a couple of years later, the first time it got shared, and then a couple of years after that, and then it seems like it never dies.
“It’s a strange thing – just when I think it’s done now, I don’t think anyone’s shared it for a bit, then all of a sudden Lindt the chocolate company will have shared it, or Lee Evans shared it once, then there’s some bloke that goes in the Capitol building in Washington that looks like me.
“It seems whatever the news is at the time, it gets applied to that and re-shared.”
