CORONATION Street star Jude Riordan has announced a new TV project with his secretly famous dad.
The actor – who plays who plays Sam Blakeman in the ITV soap – revealed on Sunday that he had finished filming his first short film with his real life dad.
His dad Paul is a director and has worked behind the scenes at popular soaps including Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Casualty and Coronation Street.
Jude, 11, beamed as he posed for a snap alongside his dad and Casualty actor Michael Stevenson.
“And that’s a wrap on my first short film Something Missing,” the soap star wrote.
“I can’t wait to see this finished film! Four long days to get it all in.

“Had the best time with the best team!
“First project with my Dad @paulrio27 and first project with @michaeltstevenson. Would I do another yes.”
Jude explained that the film focuses on a young carer looking after his mum with early onset dementia.
“This is a story very close to our hearts,” the youngster said.
“A young carer Sean looking after his Mum Suzanne with early onset Dementia a story that is life for many young carers and needs to be told.”
“Proud to be ambassador for St Helens Young Carers and hopefully we will raise awareness of how important their roles are and how important it is to get the care and support. I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
Jude’s fans were quick to comment on the exciting post.
His onscreen mum Rachel Leskovac, who played Natasha Blakeman on the soap, wrote: “Can’t wait to see it.”
It comes after Jude wished his TV director dad a happy birthday in April with a throwback snap of the pair, saying: “Happy Birthday Daddy.”
The youngster keeps fans updated on social media with the help of his mum.
Paul also shares updates as son Jude becomes a huge star on the cobbles.
The ten-year-old was awarded a National Television Award at the most recent ceremony for Best Newcomer.
Proud dad Paul said at the time: “Well this is pretty special… Proudest dad on the universe.”
He melted hearts as he became the youngest ever winner awards do – and had to be lifted by host Joel Dommett to reach the mic.
Cheered on by his co-stars, shocked Jude went on stage to pick up the best newcomer gong from Love Island stars Liberty, Kaz, Millie and Liam.

“Oh my word!” he declared. “This is amazing! I’d just like to say thank you to all my fans for voting for me, and all my Corrie cast and crew for helping me, and my family for supporting me, and yeah – that’s mainly it. Thank you guys!”
He later admitted that it was “very scary” on stage but was glad that his mum was proud.
