Coronation Street fans baffled by the same thing as Max is hospitalised – but did you notice?

WEATHERFIELD troublemaker Max Turner had to undergo surgery following his dramatic injury.

But last night’s Coronation Street instalment startled fans as nurse Aggie Bailey popped up in another hospital department.

But viewers were too distracted by nurse Aggie Bailey

After months of wreaking havoc, Max Turner (played by actor Paddy Bever) had no other choice but to come clean to Amy Barlow about spiking her drink on Valentine’s Day.

The teenager finally faced the music by getting arrested and during Friday’s episode of the ITV soap, got into a nasty row with his father David (Jack P. Shepherd).

David confiscated his phone before telling him his later mother Kylie would be ashamed of him.

Max retaliated by trying to run away but slashed his leg on a shard of glass while going through a broken window.

The youngster collapsed on the street bleeding and was brought into hospital after being found by Simon and Jacob.

While the severity of his injuries made his fate uncertain, it was revealed that Max’s surgery had actually been successful during last night’s trip to the cobbles.

However, soap fans were distracted from the good news when they saw Aggie Bailey (portrayed by Lorna Laidlaw) appear in yet another department at Weatherfield General Hospital, despite being recently transferred to a new ward.

Viewers were quick to turn to Twitter to point out the blunder after the nurse approached David and Shona.

“How many hospital departments does Aggie actually work in??”, one surprised viewer penned.

Another questioned: “Does Aggie work on every ward in the hospital?”, while a third commented: “Is there any department Aggie hasn’t appeared in.”

A fourth soap fan quipped: “Aggie seems to run the hospital!”

One final comment joked: “Aggie, the only nurse who works at the hospital.”

The nurse has been seen in several departments throughout the hospital in recent weeks.

She was even seen in the neonatal unit with Abi Webster (Sally Carman) following the birth of baby Alfie.

Corrie viewers had already raised concerns and put the ITV show on blast after seeing the nurse with the mechanic.

But which ward does the nurse actually work in?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
