CORRIE fans spot huge blunder in Summer Spellman plot while she was being held hostage by Mike.
The ITV soap’s recent episode saw Mike locking up Summer in his nursery after she found out about Mike’s affair with Ava and son Callum.

He went to extreme lengths to hide his son from Esther – which led to Summer passing out due to her glucose levels.
The teenager begged Mike to let her out and that she will not tell Esther – but Mike didn’t believe her.
Summer’s boyfriend Aaron turned up at the house and asked Mike if he had seen Summer.
He lied saying she went shopping with Esther and the house was silent.

Fans were quick to point out several blunders where Summer could have escaped.
Summer could have made noise to get Aaron’s attention as well as other people walking by the house.
She also could have broken the window using things in the nursery.
Taking to Twitter, one said: “There was like, a MILLION things in that room that Summer could’ve smashed the window with #corrie”
Another wrote: “Summer banging the window and yelling and all of a sudden when someone’s actually outside, SILENCE.”
A third penned: “She’s in a front bedroom with a huge glass window #ridiculous #corrie let’s hope she doesn’t get her insulin.”
Later in the episode, Mike then found Summer passed out in the nursery and tried to wake her up – and then a horrified Esther walked in.
She called an ambulance and Summer was taken to hospital.
Mike gave the hospital a fake name and said Summer was orphaned.
Aggie overheard and notified Billy – who came rushing in with Aaron, Paul and Todd who demanded answers from the pair.
Todd enlightened Esther that Summer found out about Ava and Mike’s son Callum, leaving Esther devastated.
Mike told his wife he didn’t want to hurt her but she angrily stormed off before revealing to Summer’s family that he locked her up in the nursery.
Later, Summer told the police that she decided not to be a surrogate for Mike and Esther which resulted in Mike locking her up.
Summer broke down in tears as she revealed: “I thought I was going to die.”
